It's an animal farm!

Mr Lim owns a farm with a lot of dfferent animals. There are cows, horses, goats, chickens, ducks and more!

Mr Lim counted his goats and ducks and found that they have a total of 70 legs. If Mr Lim has a total of 25 goats and ducks, what is the number of goats and the number of ducks in Mr Lim' farm?

Mr Lim decided to buy some stationery for his children. He bought some pencils, pens and notepads. He spent $25.70 in total.

A pencil cost $0.40 and a pen cost $0.50 more. He bought a total of 28 pencils and pens. If he bought 5 notepads which cost $1.20 each, what was the number of pencils and the number of pens he bought?

Try beating Mr Lim's score of 32!!!

Think about this...

This is true for Multiplication -

3 x 4 is the same as 4 x 3

7 x 8 is the same as 8 x 7

Is the above true for the other operations? Addition? Subtraction? Division?
